About Us
The Sickle Cell Foundation of Alberta is a volunteer-based organization in Alberta which is dedicated to creating awareness about the Sickle Cell disease and to providing assistant and information to the public in anyway possible.
We were established in 2001 by Ekua Yorke who wanted to create awareness about this rare blood disorder.
