Please join other members of your community to engage in this free workshop focused on Sickle Cell Anemia. The evening will contain a keynote address, screening of The Family Legacy - a moving drama of the emotional journey faced by a family diagnosed with sickle cell disease, address by Dr. Jean Walrond Ph.D. - Sickle Cell Anemia: Community Pedagogy and Inquiry, question and answer period, and refreshments. French interpretation will be available.

This is a rare opportunity to meet and interact with physicians and health care providers that work with blood disorders on a day-to-day basis. It is also a time for you to learn more and to network with others who are directly affected. Thanks to our sponsors this even tis free and includes lunch and refreshments. Pre-registration is required, however. Travel subsidies for those outside of Calgary may be available
